What an inspiring and successful day at the Austrian Embassy Job Fair in Nairobi!
Pendl Piswanger was proud to participate alongside our partners Talent and Youth Empowerment-TYE Pathways and Lebenshilfe, presenting reliable career pathways for talented Kenyan graduates seeking professional opportunities in Austria’s social, healthcare, and community sectors.
Austria is experiencing a growing demand for skilled professionals, and Kenya continues to demonstrate its role as a source of highly qualified, committed, and motivated talent. Angelika Kiessling-Kranzelmayer, Board Member & Head of International Recruiting and Integration at Pendl Piswanger Austria, and Rose Brandstätter, Managing Partner of TYE Pathways, we had the opportunity to meet many enthusiastic graduates, offer guidance, and build initial connections with Austrian employers. We express our sincere appreciation to Excellencies Ambassador Christian Fellner and Ambassador Valerie Rugene for hosting this important initiative and for their continued dedication to fostering strong talent partnerships between Austria and Kenya. It was also wonderful to engage with so many interested participants throughout the day - your passion, professionalism, and curiosity made this event truly special.
And a personal highlight for our team: the warm reunion with Irene Karari, Andreas Pfleger, Helen Koki whose continued support and engagement mean so much to us.
Our partnership with Talent and Youth Empowerment-TYE Pathways and Lebenshilfe demonstrates the power of ethical, transparent, and people-centered collaboration. Already, more than 25 nurses and social care professionals from Kenya have successfully started their careers in Austria through this pathway - a strong sign of what sustainable international talent mobility can achieve.
We look forward to continuing this shared mission: Creating opportunities that empower individuals, strengthen organizations, and connect communities across Kenya and Austria.
